Laurel Hannah writes music straight from the heart, bringing confessional lyrics to life with catchy, sweet melodies.

In 2019, Laurel headlined her first solo show at The Monkey House in Berkeley. Performing as herself felt natural, and she loved chatting with the audience as much as she loved sharing her original music. On the heels of her successful show, Laurel recorded Here’s to Hoping with a simple acoustic setup. The EP was released in December 2019.

At home during the COVID-19 pandemic, Laurel harnessed the power of the internet, performing shows via Facebook Live and starting a virtual songwriting workshop with musicians across the country. Online, she crossed paths with Van Isaacson and Sam Roller of Nashville’s Lovegrove Studios. They had an immediate creative connection and before long, Laurel traveled to Nashville to record her upcoming EP, Fall Apart. With the support of this new team, she pushed the genre boundaries of her songwriting, adding synths and delicate background vocals to her powerful lyrics.
