Originally from Hatfield PA, Dan Labate was introduced to his first DAW in high school at the age of 18. Falling in love with the craft, he began to search for more education to pursue a career in music production. After leaving College, he bought a 1-way ticket to Los Angeles to attend a music program at Icon Collective. This education gave him the skills needed to help discover his own sound.
Growing up exploring different genres in the EDM community, his sound is influenced by artists such as Skrillex, Wolfgang Gartner, Tchami and Porter Robinson. His new artists project "LAVANT" is aimed to combined multiple emotions and genres into one high energy atmosphere.
