Blending 80's influenced pop with heavy, modern rock, LAVDE balance their range of influences perfectly to deliver a well oiled, unique sound. Starting the band in early 2019, LAVDE wasted no time in releasing their debut single Facts Not Feelings (Cold) to rave reviews.
Following up with a summer release of Dark Wolves, the band continued to rehearse, write, record, and tour for the majority of 2019 into 2020. When the pandemic of 2020 hit, the band continued to work on new music with the EP Grows Ever Smaller releasing 28/03/20.
As the world lost its mind and the endless, pointless lockdowns continued, the band members had to go their own separate ways, leaving Matt as the only current active band member.
In 2024, Matt decided to attempt to record and release everything the band had worked on up to this point. Starting with Guilt in June, Matt found a new drive to get recording and producing.
Due to the global conflicts escalating further and further, LAVDE felt it was necessary to release A Dream Of Springtime in November of 2024.
