Since the release of their debut EP, ‘Fine Failure’, in May 2023, LaVein have consistently proven themselves as a force to be reckoned with throughout the Irish metal and hardcore community. Described as a ‘six track 19 minute roundhouse kick to the audible senses’ by Overdrive.ie, the crushing first output from the Dublin-based five piece has seen them share stages with the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:4UgQ3EFa8fEeaIEg54uV5b" data-name="Chelsea Grin">Chelsea Grin</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5BIOo2mCAokFcLHXO2Llb4" data-name="Kublai Khan TX">Kublai Khan TX</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4aglyvdJ7ApTfDC6aQ2LFf" data-name="Rotten Sound">Rotten Sound</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1daJkdlSgLE2kmnNUjmRpU" data-name="URNE">URNE</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7Amw4gNz7nLq7140PFhtuk" data-name="Burner">Burner</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3Kk7LDI1ToYPWZcnYCP7CH" data-name="WORN OUT">WORN OUT</a>, and secured them a slot at Bloodstock festival as well as a headline tour of the UK in early 2024.

In 2026, LaVein return with a punishing new single, ‘Puncture Wounds’, recorded between Belfast and Dublin by Josh Robinson (<a href="spotify:artist:5JV6t6VzxFApi5yd8XAMFq" data-name="ARCHIVES">ARCHIVES</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4H5Sej01zQdVBms4iFMTmA" data-name="Survivalist">Survivalist</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:75c24nVf8o1WJycc1UdL8F" data-name="Dead Label">Dead Label</a>) and bassist Daire McCann. Mixed by Daire McCann and mastered by Aidan Cunningham (<a href="spotify:artist:0qqxspZOkbN00bu6DaRIrn" data-name="Four Year Strong">Four Year Strong</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6BCpGC485tSshwjemmeAmd" data-name="The Scratch">The Scratch</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6LvUT0nQphy4BzdzKbdOpx" data-name="Overhead, The Albatross">Overhead, The Albatross</a>), this release sees the band embrace a tighter, more focused sound while retaining the chaos and anger of their debut.
