Lawrence Mbenjere is a renowned Malawian musician with a track record of top-selling albums. He has been doing music for more than 10 years. Coming to the limelight with his debut single “Chimwendo”, Mbenjere orchestrated what he was to deliver in his music escapades. In 2005, he burst onto the music scene with his debut album "Ndimasilira", featuring the chart-topping hit "Chiphaso". This successful release paved the way for a string of other notable albums, including "Biriwita" (2006), "Sewere" (2007), "Udzaleka" (2009), "Khwekhwelere" (2010), and "Kwawilira Ku Maliketi" (2011). Throughout the years, he has also curated several impressive collections. In addition to his musical prowess, Lawrence Mbenjere is the driving force behind Mbenjere Studios Music Promotions, which has nurtured talents like John Malunga, Mapuyu Boys, Blessings Chimangeni, and Dustain Namakhwa.
