in Kingston, Jamaica, and currently lives both in Germany and Jamaica. He grew up between the home of

The tension between the Kingston “Upper Class” and the inspiring roughness of the ghetto motivated

time at 56 Hope Road, Lazimba got the chance to learn some of his muscial skills from the most talented
musicians Jamaica had to offer back then. He continued to improve his musical skills with vocal and
instrumental training and worked on several independent projects.
Lazimba played and performed in a few bands. He was featured on shows such as St. Lucia Jazz Festival,
on different festivals and concerts in Germany and on the Rototom Sunsplash in Spain. Beside performing
in Europe, he also played many local concerts in Jamaica. Lazimba has shared the stage with artists like
Julian Marley, Damian Marley, Ziggy Marley, Alpha Blondy, Burning Spear and Andrew Tosh among
others.
While touring, Lazimba developed his own style mixing Dancehall with Reggae and Hip Hop. He
attracted the attention of some concert promoters and Hood Luv Crew with who he later collaborated in
their studios in Munich, Germany. After touring through Germany and Spain.
