Forming in 2006, French underground hip-hop all-stars Le Klub des 7 counted some of the most exciting and original deviant French rappers among their ranks. Comprised of Klub des Loosers' Fuzati and DJ Detect, ATK's Cyanure and Fredy K, Gravité Zéro's James Delleck and Le Jouage, plus Svinkels' Gérard Baste, the crew released a critically acclaimed self-titled LP including many styles, flows, and highlights, from Fuzati's "Le Parapluie" to the infectious "La Réunion Secrète" (featuring every rapper involved). Artistically close to TTC's early works, some members had already collaborated with the latter's Teki Latex, Para One, and Tacteel on 2003's L'Atelier album, Buffet des Anciens Élèves. While Fredy K tragically died in a motorcycle accident in 2007, most of the other members' group or solo projects have been highly anticipated since Le Klub des 7's first effort. ~ Olivier Duboc, Rovi
