Leaden is a "Genre-Fluid" artist that takes most influence from Pop-Punk and Hardcore-Metal cultures. His first, self-made/self-distributed album "Alone" delved deep into his own psyche. Touching on subjects such as suicide, anxiety, depression, and relationships. In this album, he experimented with a hip-hop sound, but later in the track list he started to step into the world of Hardcore-Metal and Punk.
After releasing four singles after "Alone," Leaden released his second album, solely self-made/self-distributed, "Dead Again." This album is a loose continuation of the "Alone" story. Touching on the same subjects as the previous album but told the story in the shoes of him in hell. This album did so in a different sound. "Dead Again" used an experimental Genre-Fluid style, using Pop-Punk, Hardcore-Metal, and R&B. During this album was when Leaden truly found the sound that he was looking for.
Soon after, Leaden fully embraced the Pop-Punk sound in his latest album "Big Time Misery." Still taking inspiration from Hardcore-Metal, Hip-Hop, and R&B, Leaden crafted an album that blended the Genre's together. Though not a continuation of the "Alone" storyline, there were some subtle hints to what his next album could sound like. For example, "Broken," the last track in the album, is the evolving sound that Leaden is reaching for. "Big Time Misery" was a project that Leaden wanted to do for a while, but it isn't likely that he will return to the same sound.
