Mark Perry is the guy behind the moniker "lead+fellow." He likes coffee and tea pretty equally, wears suspenders unironically, and has a driving desire to find the beautiful things hidden in this life. At his core, Mark is a storyteller, even though he isn't always sure what exactly the story is. His music is his way of capturing tiny bits of emotions and experiences, and he sincerely hopes that they can help others appreciate and process them too. Sometimes those things are happy, but Mark isn't afraid to shed light on heavy topics; he tries his best to approach those things with grace.

Not quite sure how to genre himself, Mark has decided to call lead+fellow singer-songwriter, spiced with flavors of jazz, folk, pop, and even some traditional gospel. His main artist influences in the past few years have been Twenty One Pilots, Panic! at the Disco, Sleeping At Last, and Jon Bellion. Mark's first album, "Leaden Fellow," bounces between different styles, as he was exploring the possibilities of song writing. With a BA in music theory and composition, Mark will continue to explore and write and tell his mini stories.

Leaden Fellow is a concept album that outlines the story of a fictional character named Reid. Reid is a prideful dude who is forced to deal with the consequences of his own broken nature. He is searching for love, and purpose, and hope. The spoiler is that there is hope to be found, even if a lot of dark stuff stands in the way.

Mark wants to share that hope.
