A Utrecht-based acoustic-pop group formed in 2005, Leaf released their first album in 2007, entitled Life's A Beach. Members Jeroen Blumers, Annemarie Brohm, Ocker Gevaerts, Tinus Konijnenburg, and Joni Scholten first drew attention when they won a contest sponsored by the newspaper Telegraaf.
