Formed in Nashville the early 2010s by singer/songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:1kZ6UUBDcd4a0H3wKFhzvM">Thad Cockrell</a> and drummer Jeremy Lutito, Leagues make a pulsing brand of indie dance-rock. With <a href="spotify:artist:1kZ6UUBDcd4a0H3wKFhzvM">Cockrell</a> having a handful of solo and duet albums on his résumé -- some as a straight-up country artist -- and Lutito having toured behind <a href="spotify:artist:1lMaDSraU3oiNUsVWJLHdF">Jars of Clay</a>, their debut album as Leagues, You Belong Here, was released in early 2013 on <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Bufalotone+Records%22">Bufalotone Records</a>. It went on to appear on the Billboard Heatseekers and Independent Albums charts.
