Leaves in Flames is a German Rock/HardRock band proving that even as an independent artist you can have a massive sound without being limited to only one musical style. Since their formation in 2018 – originally as a school band – the four are all about bringing new wind back into classic Rock n‘ Roll and rethinking their own sound with every new release. In doing so, listeners experience a journey through classic HardRock of the 80s infused with modern Pop and Alternative influences that make you want to sing along instantly.
Since the release of their debut album "Rolling the Dice" in summer 2021, the band around Leander Bußmann (lead singer), Klaus Müller-Hoberg (lead guitar), Phil Borkhardt (bass) and Niklas Dorendorf (drums) regularly draws attention. They‘ve collaborated with the Swedish label LoudKult and released the house remix "Call Me" with Charlie Boulala.
The EP „INDIVIDUUM“ (2023) earned them features in magazines such as Frontstage Magazine and Yeah! Magazine, followed by the 2024 EP-release „Strange Habits“ and the Album-release „Flowers and Despair“ in 2025.
Leaves in Flames have played festivals like Da ist was im Busch (’22/’23), Frierock (’25) and Electrisize (’25), and also headline their own event — the Gladbach Rockt Festival.
