Born in goma, democratic republic of congo (drc) in 1992. Lebon grew up on the streets of Goma, DRC and at the age of twelve, he and 20 young people in his community formed a collective of self-taught rappers and B-boys. The crew shared their skills with each other and young people in the community in the background of a brutal war which ultimately divided and displaced hundreds of thousands of people
To escape recruitment into what had become a violent and bloody decade for the DRC Lebon moved to Kampala in search of peace, security and a new platform for his talent he was welcomed into a close community of artists and performers. He worked hard as a resident mc/rapper with the Boutique foundation where he recorded his first tracks and collaborated with local and international artists.
Alongside his rapping he was founding member of breakdance Uganda which for more than four years has trained young people in breakdancing in central Kampala in recent years.
He has performed to filled stadiums in Uganda and DRC as part of rap duo Kongoloko, headlined at events across Uganda, and participated in a multi-disciplinary residency in Kenya.
He is currently in the studio recording his debut album.
