Lee Christian was a prominent figure in the Oxford music scene for over ten years as an artist, producer, remixer, event organiser and radio presenter & DJ. He is best known for fronting formidable award winning live rock band SMILEX for over a decade, but also involves himself in countless diverse musical projects like The Prohibition Smokers Club and more.
Lee developed his varying musical and artistic influences over several diverse albums and releases (each with their own sonic & thematic concepts) into a cohesive and distinctive signature sound that blends Alternative rock, Electronic music and Funkier Inspirations like his first musical fascination Prince, while staying experimental & rebellious with deeply layered vocals & lyrics that reward investigation.
New concept album Pandemoria's Box is his first of new material in 5 years. It was started just before the pandemic but came to be a record of that time through sheer circumstance, while living a semi-hermitic lifestyle in Bath UK, made in gaps between working with new & established artists via internationally rostered indie label Quickfix Recordings - remixing artists like Kellindo Parker and Jennie 'Bellestar' Matthias. Now it is finally unleashed upon an unsuspecting world - Previous singles The Social Distance, U Work 4 Us, Darkest Day Of The Year all feature as new mixes and Another American Psycho remastered so they sit together as one seemless musical journey through history's most recent darkest era.
