Lee Ryan was just 17 when All Rise was released and Blue began their rise to global Success. Over the next few years they had 3 Number 1 albums and sold 16 million records worldwide. Number 1’s including Too Close, If you Come Back and One Love, alongside their debut single are still played all over radio today.
Lee wrote the track Breathe Easy, which when translated into Italian and sung by the band spent 8 weeks at the top of the Italian Charts.
Lee released his self-titled solo album in 2005, which included the single Army Of Lovers, which was top 3 in the UK and spent 4 weeks at number 1 in Italy.
Blue embarked on a Greatest Hits tour in the Spring of 2024 and haven’t looked back, playing to audiences across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. They were also Special Guests on the recent Olly Murrs Arena tour, playing to over 200,000 people in the UK.
Whilst the band are currently working together on a new studio album and their 25th Anniversary, Lee has never stopped writing, and has a large collection of solo material. This first single to be released by Cooking Vinyl, One More Night was written with Novel Janussi, William Hendriksen in 2024 in Sweden and is the perfect summer tune.
