Midwest South Bend native “Leekjaymusic” Sound describes a laid back, but amped up! clever technique, that exercises lyrics with thought put in to them with incredible metaphors. Bounces back and fourth between a deep voice soulful sound; and/or a birthed Signature style of a winy flow , filled with drip, bounce, style, and cockiness Depending on the beat. That’s how styles and production tend to fluctuate between every coast on the map! taking on West coast, east coast, South, and Midwest production. This is what exercises the versatility to be able to relate to people all over the world. And that comes from being a listener first.
“As a teen playing ball for my high school, I had no idea I would take this serious like I am. but once basketball completely crashed. my constant love for hip-hop through my basketball career, and also early history wit music; (performing at the age of 10, etc), led me to realize that music is a therapist for all the things that linger on my brain from my life. It created a purpose for my self. I eventually found my own lane as far as my music in general and signature adlib; “naNaNaNaaa”. but the early guidance came from my father and influences from artists like J.cole, Kendrick, Pac, and Nas. New sounds and new waves comes to me through my body of work since I been dropping music, and current and past influences. But it’s all about finding ways to pour my heart authentically”
