Leena Singh is a renowned artist, educator, and preserver of Sikh musical traditions whose work bridges the sacred and the contemporary. With a Master’s in Music and a background in engineering, her journey flows from deep devotion to Gurbani, spiritual expression, and cultural preservation.

Leena’s music blends ancient Sikh string instruments—like the Rabab, Taus, Dilruba, and Saranda—with modern arrangements and Sufi-inspired lyrics, creating a sound that’s both timeless and globally resonant. Her compositions explore divine love, unity, and self-discovery, often incorporating English translations of Gurbani to reach a broader audience.

As founder of the Sikh Heritage Symphony, she mentors youth in traditional instruments, and her students have performed at iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, and Times Square. Her acclaimed book Raag Naad Journey explores the 31 ragas of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, bringing Gurmat Sangeet to international audiences.

Trained under masters like Ustad Homayoun Sakhi (Rabab), Dr. Sisirkana Dhar Chowdhury (vocals), and with guidance in Gurmat Sangeet from Dr. Gurnam Singh Ji, Leena’s artistry is rooted in both discipline and devotion.
