Night Wars is an intimate introduction to South West Londoner Lees. Made remotely in lockdown with Liam Howe (Lana Del Rey, FKA Twigs) and Eg White (Adele, Dua Lipa), Lees first ever releases are collages of breakups - within families, or with a lover - and, also, emotional breakthroughs. Lees is influenced by a wide range of music, from the intense, ethereal electronica of Portishead to the confessional R&B of ‘Blonde’, via the raw emotion of strong female artists like Laura Marling and Imogen Heap.
