Relating with alcohol/drug addiction, homelessness, anxiety, mental distractions, and the weight of not fitting into society’s “white picket fence” mold, his songs reflect truth, resilience, and deep emotional insight. His creative process is both intuitive and spiritual—what he describes as painting in an empty room with nothing on the walls.
