Lemé started as four good friends, who got the opportunity to play at the Bodø Jazz Open festival 2024 in Bodø. With no name given to the band, they decided to go the easy way, using the first letter of their first names. They played their first concert at the festival, with no plans on continuing, but with great feedback, this marked the start for Lemé.
Following the breakthrough, the Bodø-based band (located in Northern Norway) has since then played on multiple of the city's most well-respected locations. This includes "skogenscenen" at Parkenfestivalen 2024, Sinus, Beddingen Kulturhus, Stormen Concert Hall, as well as Bodø Jazz Open 2025. Most memorable was when they shared the stage with <a href="spotify:artist:4si4vypZaD6Vk7TiHkEXeY" data-name="Halvdan Sivertsen">Halvdan Sivertsen</a>, at his sold out show in Stormens main hall, november 2024. Lemé has later hosted <a href="spotify:artist:6wR0vt0ngpiuRmfkdGj9ht" data-name="Jan Gunnar Hoff">Jan Gunnar Hoff</a> as a guest on their show at Sinus, Bodø.
Lemé is a funk/pop band, that focuses heavily on fun and creating a good vibe. Their concerts are well known for their big energy, impressive songs, as well as a unique ability to communicate and connect with the audience.
