I’m Lena. I remember wanting to be a singer since I was a child. So I sang a lot. Experiencing the reality of God at the age of 12 gave me even more to sing about. God became so close, personal, loving and so real in my daily life that naturally songs about my walk with Him started to flow. I started writing my own songs and expressed my heart, struggles, thoughts and my love for Jesus through them. Being part of a young band allowed me to discover the depth of worship music and its impact on my life and my relationship with God. Writing rather simple songs (musically) I inclined to come out with very catchy songs that remained in people’s ears. Some of them were no typical worship songs but were pop, country, jazz or folk and didn't fit our bands albums. Now I am a mother of 3 and me and my husband finally fulfilled a long-time dream & recorded a collection of those songs I had written over the years. ALL WE NEED IS LOVE is my first solo album. It’s a colourful bundle of songs from the heart, flying you through different music styles, with the desire to take you closer to the heart of God. The album title serves as a life motto, because we have learned that throughout all the difficulties we face in life, loving each other is challenging but an evident calling of God for everyone. The album was recorded mostly live, with friends from our long time Friends of Jesus band and also some guest musicians who added beautiful art to many of the songs. Enjoy.
