"You know it´s Lengsel when you hear it"
Lengsel released a critically acclaimed debut album entitled «Solace» in 2000. Originally recorded in 1998 at Endless Studios, and engineered/mixed by Tore Ylwizaker @Ulver. The trio decided to record a second album, «The Kiss, the Hope» in 2006. It saw the band go in a more extreme direction. The album had a different more aggressive vibe, yet a true Lengsel-signature. The album was recorded all over Oslo in different studios. In 2011 they released a selftitled album including various demos and alternative mixes from the «Solace»-recordings.
