Leo Susana

Here's what my bio might look like if written in 3rd person: Leo Susana is a musician originally from New York currently living in Fiscal, a small village in the Spanish Pyrenees/. Known more for his work as guitarist/vocalist with metal outfit JLS Jodio Loco Sucio, Susana has also worked for other projects as sideman, singer and songwriter. In 2011 he released his first solo acoustic album, The Opposite of Now. A string of singles with different projects followed. Machine Gun Camera (Korduroy Remix) is his latest single.

Here&#39;s reality - I’m a multi instrumentalist born in NYC and raised between that city and my parents’ native Santo Domingo, DR. My main instrument is guitar and I started out playing in Broom Hellda,a metal band in NYC,as a teen. I later co-founded dominican rock stalwarts, <a href="spotify:artist:3wjwFoFTYZIACF5lyLPgV0" data-name="Toque Profundo">Toque Profundo</a>. When I left that band in 1991 I formed my own group <a href="spotify:artist:5fqqYfA3I3YHZC0OKaotdx" data-name="JLS Jodio Loco Sucio">JLS Jodio Loco Sucio</a> which started out as a duo called JLS and Cousin Max. I’ve recorded 3 studio albums with this project and released 2 live ones all with different line-ups. In 2011 I released my first solo acoustic album The Opposite of Now. In 2017 released new music with my project <a href="spotify:artist:6jMJCcnasfEA3IchRicRhl" data-name="Jungle Law Syndrome">Jungle Law Syndrome</a> and a single as a solo artist, <a href="spotify:track:5Uoeot64RCBEKkwFw3Vh8f" data-name="Machine Gun Camera">Machine Gun Camera</a>. After years living in Zaragoza, Spain, I moved to Fiscal, a small town in the Pyrenees, in 2020 after lock down. My latest single is a remix by <a href="spotify:artist:1RQyr0xg1J2OSdjGatiD9m" data-name="Korduroy">Korduroy</a> of Machine Gun Camera.
