Houston, Texas is the birthplace of L.E.O (born Ricky Johnson Jr. on August 16th, 1995). Although his mother and father were never married, both of his parents and their respective families played an integral part in his life. During his early childhood, L.E.O watched his mother hold two jobs in order to move her family out to a more favorable area of the city. Between his father, uncle and extended family members also involved in the world of music, L.E.O was unknowingly gaining knowledge and a passion for the music world which has led to the Hip-Hop artist he is today. Along with family ties, friendships made throughout L.E.O’s grade school career led to the formation of the concept 2nd Nature. Realizing that music and the gift of lyricism came 2nd Nature to him, L.E.O decided to take that ball, run with it and never look back.
