Born and raised in Bedfordshire, UK, singer/songwriter & loop pedal artist Leon Bratt always knew that the music industry was where he fitted in. Leon grew up listening to and taking inspiration from <a href="spotify:artist:2QsynagSdAqZj3U9HgDzjD" data-name="Bob Marley & The Wailers">Bob Marley & The Wailers</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3qm84nBOXUEQ2vnTfUTTFC" data-name="Guns N' Roses">Guns N' Roses</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7guDJrEfX3qb6FEbdPA5qi" data-name="Stevie Wonder">Stevie Wonder</a> and then later on started taking inspiration from the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:6Q192DXotxtaysaqNPy5yR" data-name="Amy Winehouse">Amy Winehouse</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6eUKZXaKkcviH0Ku9w2n3V" data-name="Ed Sheeran">Ed Sheeran</a> & <a href="spotify:artist:3GBPw9NK25X1Wt2OUvOwY3" data-name="Jack Johnson">Jack Johnson</a> to name a few.
After leaving school and becoming a body piercer for 8 years, Leon knew it was time to take the plunge to become a full-time musician. He started to expand his reach from local pubs to all across the UK, whilst entering himself into competitions along the way. In 2012, Leon won the Acoustic Category for the 'Live & Unsigned' competition. Leon then went on to win 'Mecca Bingo Star Search' in 2015 where he won enough money to record his debut EP '<a href="spotify:album:5HK0JVs1jZ9tRRKSR0mTWG" data-name="Atmosphere">Atmosphere</a>'.
Leon released his debut single '<a href="spotify:album:5Oz9Zdphp93Bvk2hO45vCQ" data-name="Body Piercer">Body Piercer</a>' in late 2015, which is a tongue-in-cheek take on the daily life of a body piercer. The single was part of his debut EP '<a href="spotify:album:5HK0JVs1jZ9tRRKSR0mTWG" data-name="Atmosphere">Atmosphere</a>' which was later released in 2016.
March 2020 was when everything changed for Leon, with the start of the first COVID lockdown in the UK, every one of his gigs were cancelled. Leon took it upon himself to move all of his live shows online & this was where his Twitch channel 'LeonBratt' was born. Leon started gaining traction quickly on the platform, building a community like no other.
