Leon Revol is the electronic outlet of Leo.
First record was released on Lyon-based label Carré Bleu Records
(2015). With previous support from the like of Move D and Laurent
Garnier, he has also released tracks on Monologues, Church and Noire
& Blanche.
‘Enter a zircon’ is Leon’s first full-length album fusing broken beat,
ambient and analog sounds. The recording
will be released in 2020.
Leon is a quiet producer, remixer and DJ based in Bordeaux. Drummer
at the base, he started to manipulate his parents' music which turned
quickly to obsession of melodic synths, undulating drum patterns and
analog waves. He developed his technique over the years to produce
music ranging from the jazz and folk sample to a narrative moving
sounds.
‘All the things come naturally to maintain constantly spontaneous
feelings’
These last years have seen him mixing in the legendary Pacha in Ibiza,
in Badaboum (Paris), Berlin, and of course in his own ground at Iboat in Bordeaux
