Leonard Damron life has been shaped by music. Growing up in Michigan, he began his creative journey at the age of 12 when he first took piano lessons. His early influences were the R&B and Hip-hop music he heard at home, and the Gospel he played and sang at church

Although he has worked with a number of other artists over the years, Leonard Damron did not begin writing his own music until relatively recently. While living through a very dark time in life he started writing positive affirmations. The affirmations evolved into beautiful inspirational poems. The poems themselves eventually transformed into inspirational songs of love and faith. The first song took shape in 2010, however it would be another five years before the singer went public with his work.

With hits like “I Grew Up in Detroit” and “Love Conquers All” he has connected with millions of fans across multiple platforms.
