Leonard Sweet was born and raised in New England, where music was more than just a part of his life—it was his obsession, his outlet, his religion. At the age of eight, he touched his first pair of drumsticks, and from that moment on, he knew exactly what he wanted out of life.
As the son of a pastor, Leonard grew up surrounded by gospel music, practically raised on the pews of his church. In 2008, he was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. However, after facing life’s trials and unexpected detours, the once inseparable bond between Leonard and music became strained—they went from being lovers to mere acquaintances.
But fate had other plans. During his second semester at Berklee, Leonard stumbled upon music production while experimenting with Reason after class. What started as a playful curiosity quickly turned into a burning passion. That’s when he began to find his voice—a process that took years of soul-searching, evolving over the course of 12 years into the unique sound he carries today.
Leonard is a musical chameleon, refusing to be confined to any single genre. He creates what he feels, embracing the freedom of boundless expression. For him, music isn’t just a calling—it’s his purpose and the reason he’s alive.
