Leon was born in Memphis, Tennessee, Parkway Village. Growing up, he had always nurtured the dream of becoming a successful musician someday. However, life did not go all smooth for Leon while growing up as a kid in Memphis. He grew up in a family of four without his mom. According to Leon, his mom was always out “stranded” and trying to make ends meet. It was just a matter of time before he got introduced to drugs at a very tender age. Leon grew up fighting drugs and substance addiction until he was eighteen. For Leon, these were trying times.
To make worst the challenge of having a mother who “was not always there” . Reflecting on the situation, Leon said - “because of my mom’s situation while being pregnant with me, dad was there but not enough.” Football became an avenue for Leon to release his painful childhood emotions and disappointments. Thus, he gave much of his time to it. He kept playing football until about four years ago when he picked up the microphone and started rapping…
