Lera Lynn is an American singer-songwriter and producer known for her cinematic soundscapes and haunting vocals that blend Americana, indie rock, folk noir, and art pop. She first gained widespread recognition with her contributions to HBO’s True Detective (Season 2), where her atmospheric style made a lasting impression on viewers.

A fiercely independent artist, Lynn has cultivated a career based on thoughtful songwriting, poetic lyricism, and meticulous production through her label, Ruby Range Records. Beyond her solo albums, she’s composed music for films, television, and video games, while collaborating with a diverse range of artists.

Her newest album, Comic Book Cowboy, out September 19, 2025, is a lively exploration of the messiness of life, with a playful yet introspective look at personal dreams, societal expectations, and the tension between the ideal and the real. The album’s title track and first single, “Comic Book Cowboy,” offers a bold, tongue-in-cheek anthem about embracing imperfections, letting go of grand ideals, and finding freedom in the face of life’s unpredictabilities. Here we find Lynn going even farther down her singular stylistic lane.

Fans can currently find her on the RUIN ME international tour in support of Comic Book Cowboy, where Lynn’s captivating live performances will bring her evolving sound to audiences around the world. Stay connected for updates on new music, tour dates, and exclusive content through her website and social media.
