Leroy Curriculum was born Zachary Henry Bailey in Chicago, Illinois. Although he would do a few year stint in Indianapolis, he would eventually live a majority of his life in Memphis, Tennessee. Zachary started to do poems during middle school and dabble in rap through high school. He went under the moniker Dr.Bravdo due to his aspirations of going to the medical field. Enjoying the discography of George Dukes, Three 6 Mafia, MF Doom, Scarface, Wu-Tang, Clan , War and most notably Del The Funky Homosapien. In his early raps, concepts were strongly influenced by horrorcore, racial violence and morbid imagery. This would be reinforced by the death of his Grandmother and murder of his cousin back Indiana. After completing high school, Zachary headed back to Chicago and studied at DePaul University and UIC. But was not fruitful due to finances. Yet, this disappointment spawned a new monkier inspired by blaxploitation and love of vocabulary, Leroy Curriculum. At the time, his family was settling St Paul and Minneapolis. As a result, he had to connect back with his family. Also to remedy the desire for education, Leroy enlisted in the Army in 2016. Now utilizing social media , musical passion and a studious work ethic, Leroy Curriculum strives to make an indelible impact in hip hop through lyricism
