While Les Claypool's musical modus operandi tends toward the big and weird -- having blown minds and pushed the limits of what can be done with a bass guitar with bands like <a href="spotify:artist:64mPnRMMeudAet0E62ypkx">Primus</a> and the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade -- Les Claypool's Duo De Twang finds the bassist taking a more stripped-down approach. A team-up with guitarist Bryan Kehoe, best known for his work with Bay area weirdos <a href="spotify:artist:3mkVFXiT4xcpePy4EhaaCs">M.I.R.V.</a>, the pair set out to bring a little more twang into people's lives with their own twisted interpretation of bluegrass and country.
