Les N. Downs

Hailing from the City of Twin Lakes in Kentucky with a sound that blends Folk, Soul, and Faith together in a beautiful and natural way. Les N. Downs has a testimony that stretches as far as the West Coast to Kentucky with stories woven all in between every mile. Her early musical influences include Billie Holiday, Janis Joplin, and Bonnie Raitt. Finding where to fit in the realm of Christian music hasn’t been the easiest task. It was in a small county jail where she gave her heart to the Lord. Once released she began to run from that faith she’d found. A musician on the streets and in the clubs of San Francisco she was hiding from the truth. God met her there and showed her a vision that caused her to book a flight home that night. She give God her whole life and through her identity in Christ she has found confidence and peace in herself as a believer and an artist. A gifted writer she has offered that gift back to God in hopes that the ministry she’s been given is used for His glory and drawing hearts back to Him. There’s no freedom like what Christ gives.
