LES OS

LES OS is a French-speaking indie rock ’n’ roll band from Hanover, founded in 2024. The project began in the shared apartment of Miku and Corne as a duet under the name Charm H, featuring electronic drum beats, electric bass, electric guitar, and sampled sounds. From the very beginning, the lyrics were written in French—Miku’s native language. Being somewhat shy, it suited Miku that Corne only understood the lyrics when prompted, sometimes helping to verbalize them together.
Soon the project expanded: Jerrik joined on drums, Marc added a second electric guitar, and new songs quickly emerged. From a naïve perspective, they explore themes of doubt in faith or ideals and societal delusion through their music. To avoid sinking into despair, they approach these topics with self-critical and self-ironic celebration.
In early 2025, LES OS released their first album, “courrant”, which was recorded independently. This was followed by their first concerts in and around Hanover.
At the end of 2025, their first EP, “cracher” (“spit”), was created—the sound dirtier, more direct, and rawer. With the help of a friend, they recorded it on a 4-track tape recorder. This recording method reflects and continues to reflect the joy of the interaction between their individual personalities and instruments, which defines the band’s unique sound.
