Les Teriba

Tradition et modernité, deux mondes différents mais qui ici se donnent la main pour créer une musique tout en finesse. Teriba nous livre un groove à l'état pur à l'image des rythmes traditionnels du Bénin.
Sur scène elles partagent avec le public une émotion puissante, vivace. Le corps et l'esprit sont sollicités dans une transe intense. Chant, percussions, danse, incantation Yoruba. A s'y méprendre on croirait entendre les masques sacrés Egun (Revenants). Tout est savamment dosé.
Un sujet prédominant: la femme. Il est présent sous différentes formes. La place de la femme dans le monde en général, l'éducation, la question des enfants. Et Sa place dans l'industrie musicale et sur la scène.
