Letícia Scarpa

LETÍCIA SCARPA has been working as an actress, TV presenter and doing voice-over in Brazil for more than 20 years and has a large curriculum in theater, TV and publicity. Graduated as an architect, she has also worked creating and designing jewelry for her own brand for more than 10 years,

Music and poetry are two long term companions. She has always written poetry and have had music classes with great Brazilian names. Around 2008 Letícia has found herself composing songs and has launched her first CD, called LÊ, with her own unpublished songs and in which she, besides singing, has also participated in the arrangements and the musical production. This album was pre-selected for the biggest Brazilian prize and has played in radios around the world. In 2017 she has launched the album Patuscada - baguncinhas musicais, along with Edu Maranhão, aimed for children. And in 2018 she has launched the single Corre-corre and is now working on more to come...

Born in São Paulo, with family from Pernambuco and Minas Gerais (and today spread all over Brazil), Letícia Scarpa has lived in Japan in the 80's. She has also travelled constantly throughout Brazil and many countries around the world. Therefore, she prints all this personal and artistic plurality in the music she makes, sometimes being cosmopolitan and experimental and sometimes revealing her family roots, resulting in a very Brazilian and contemporary mixture.
