A female alternative metal band from Cleveland, OH Level C formed in 2002, and specialized in a sound that would have put them in fairly good company had they been around in the mid-'90s, drawing comparisons to other female metal outfits (obviously) like <a href="spotify:artist:1SKzweHZMHbHhv6o8fnY8Z">Drain S.T.H.</a> and stylistic similarities to more "grungy" metal bands and '90s outfits of a similar ilk. Eventually, after honing their chops through constant performance and song development, the group -- Christine Maynard (vocals), Christina Crago (guitar), Janean Marie Buch (bass), and Misty Everson (drums) -- scored a deal with Locomotive, who, along with Ryko, released the band's debut album, Level C, in 2008. ~ Chris True, Rovi
