Affectionately dubbed AmaGoduka ,Twin duo Leverage encapsulates what happens when the unwillingness to quit meets grit & authenticity.Hailing from the rustic foothills of Okhahlamba in Bergville Obonjaneni,they set their sights on carving a niche as early as 11 and passionately plied this trade well into their teens in various hip hop circuits.

Evident in their suave use of isiZulu ,the pair draws its earliest sonic influence from prominent Maskandi Pioneer Mfaz'Omnyama coupled with sounds from the late Urban Zulu Mammoth of innovation,Mama Busi Mhlongo. Unsure on whether to fully commit ,they credit Mashayabuqe kaMamba & Zuluboy to have tipped the scales & having inspired them to fully pursue music as a career path .Their catalogue beams of "Cothoza" candour infused into an eclectic approach of Rhythm & Poetry .They took centre stage in 2017 releasing ''isililo'' which saw them gain traction parts of Gauteng and KZN. In 2020 they stepped it up a notch making a notable appearance in Big Zulu's Multi Award winning album ''Ichwane Lenyoka'' alongside Zuluboy on a Song titled "Khala amabhinca''. Mid 2023 saw the pair drop INHLULABEYIVIMBA EP , a palette cleanser and segue into their much anticipated 2024 project titled ITHEMBA LAMAVUKANE which went on debut on the APPLE MUSIC HIP HOP 100 HOT ALBUMS at 91 & peaking at 72 without playlisting or editorials . They went on to co-open with ANZO at Sjava's sold out tour in Pretoria in the same year.
