Samoan-born Michael Levin Sesega (Levi) is a truly gifted songwriter and storyteller. Now based in Auckland, New Zealand, Michael is the musical architect behind Levi Lights On.

Levi Lights On beautifully presents powerful and emotional tones, blended with an uncommon mix of instruments including cajon, saxophone and cello. This wonderful fusion of sounds provides the listener with very vivid imagery, imagery which is superbly emphasised by Michael’s commanding vocal presence, daring you to pay close attention to his introspective lyrics.

Levi Lights On is both a solo artist and collaborator who harnesses the relationships he has developed over the years in order to give life to tightly knit composition which expertly merges musical genres.

The debut single from Levi Lights On, Mirror Man (2019), was produced by internationally acclaimed producer Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Jason Kerrison). This was followed by three further singles – Like A Tie (2019), Eyes Of A Child (2019) and Live To Be (2020), all of which were produced by Mitch French of Black Dog Recording Studios in Auckland.

Levi Lights On delivers exquisitely unique and diverse songs which touch the soul and attempt to unpick the very nature of human existence. This is music from the soul, to the soul.
