Levon Tevanyan (born September 13, 1975, in Yerevan, Armenia) is an acclaimed Armenian musician celebrated for his mastery of traditional wind instruments and piano. After graduating from the Komitas State Conservatory in 1997, Levon became a leading soloist, performing with ensembles like the Shoghaken Folk Ensemble and the Armenian State Philharmonic. He has toured in over a dozen countries, bringing Armenian music to international audiences.
In addition to his performance career, Levon is the Artistic Director of the Stepan Jrbashyan Music School in Yerevan, where his orchestra won the Grand Prize at the Republic IV Competition-Festival of National Orchestra Ensembles in November 2023.
Levon’s latest works include the 10-track album Duduk Meditation (released August 2024) and the EP I Heard a Sweet Voice (released November 2024). A recipient of the title Meritorious Artist of the Republic of Armenia in 2012, he has contributed over 20 recordings to Armenian Public Radio and continues to push the boundaries of Armenian folk and jazz music.
