Singer-songwriter Levy, currently home-hopping between Germany and London, has released her debut EP "Small Scale Revolutions" on the 14th May 2021.
Following her previous January release entitled "Seeing Red", her single "Melody" was the second taster for her EP, and this one brought all the feels. It's a gentle break from Levy's more upbeat repertoire and showcases the artist's softer side, both through atmospheric lyrics and warm vocals. While describing the feeling of being completely encompassed by a new love, Levy's voice remains tender, yet expressive. "Melody" is jam-packed with dreamy guitars and lush harmonies reminding of Emily King; at times, it feels like a musical embrace."Small Scale Revolutions" explores various sides and colours of Levy's voice and songwriting, each song dipping into a different genre such as jazz, soul and indie-rock.
The German songwriter is no newcomer to the music scene; building on a classical education and years of experience in musical theatre, Levy arrived in London in 2015 to study Popular Music Performance at BIMM London. Since then, she’s accumulated a wide range of engagements as a
keys player, vocal arranger and session vocalist for live bands as well as regular studio sessions at Abbey Road Studio.
Her previous releases have garnered over 16,000 Spotify streams and steadily rising attention from radios (Radio Wigwam, Hayes FM) and blogs (FV Music Blog, Your Music Experience and more).
