Written in late October 2016, on a grand piano in the back of a live room in the first semester of university, 22 sets the scene for the start of this era. Light Brigade is dark and dramatic, swaying between fleeting hope and a longing for resolve that features a real wax cylinder recording from one of the members of the charge of the Light Brigade. Fall Creek contrasts the weight of Light Brigade, with an escape into etherial soundscapes and the stillness of a winter scene. Kathalis is a tribute of soaring melody, gratitude and memory. One Year remarks on the terrifying infinite possibility in the quandary of which direction to take at a major crossroad, as a satirical love song to ones self and fleeting sanity.
