Liana Rotter is an eclectic Italo-American singer, whose stage performances include leading roles in opera, operetta and musicals. After a successful career in Italy, where she was especially renowned for her soubrette roles in operettas, she has returned to Las Vegas, where she is currently teaching.
She has always been drawn to the old American song standards and welcomed opportunities to use her “lighter”vocal style. Here she presents her album with the legendary Guido Cergoli, pianist and orchestra director: Gershwin Ellington and Kern's Love Songs, as well as an original song “Bonjour Paris”, written by her father, pianist and composer Guido Rotter. The originality of this album lies in its arrangements, personally written by Guido Cergoli for the voice of the singer, Liana Rotter, with the aim to evoke moods, emotions of the American style of the era. The recording was made in Rome with the participation of some of the finest jazz musicians of the RAI orchestra (Italian national broadcaster) , mix and master in Las Vegas, NV,USA. The album has been produced by Vegas S.a.s. directed by Italian producer and musician Alessandro Turello, and it's distributed by Bibomusic Classic. #bibomusic #gershwin #ellington #kern #lianarotter #guidocergoli #rai #newyork #roma For more information on Liana Rotter please visit: www.roetterturello.net Source: Bibomusic Classic.
