Liar was founded in 1995 by members of Congress and Blindfold. Combining Teutonic Thrash Metal riffs and speed with Hardcore ethics and lyrical themes, Liar opened the gates for many bands to follow.
Often imitated, never duplicated, the band raged on for more than a decade, going on a hiatus after 4 full length records, numerous tours throughout Europe, countless shows and festivals.
Revived in 2019 to celebrate the release of a book on the infamous H8000 scene, Liar is now separating the men from the boys live again, bringing the best of their now iconic catalogue.
