Liberated Squid are an "old school" punk rock band from New Zealand. The current line-up consists of Michael Baxter (vocals & guitar) Johnny B (guitar & vocals), Tony Cranston (Bass), Jason Fawcett (Drums). Inspired by late seventies punk rock bands like Stiff Little Fingers, The Newtown Neurotics, The Clash & Ramones. Liberated Squid songs cover various subjects from serious issues like politics and social issues to less serious issues such as eating out your dead zombie girlfriend.
