Lieder Distortion

There is so much music being released every day that I have had a hard time motivating myself to record and release something under my own name. But with Lider Distortion, I can actually feel that this record is not done. Somehow, I think there is a small gap to fill here. Then I am aware that this is a niche but it is exactly what I like. In those days when you advertised an album on TV or wanted to have a big radio hit, it should ideally appeal to a lot of people, or at least many people shouldn't dislike the song, but I still believe and hope that the digital world will be able to accommodate a greater flora and greater diversity than the old media landscape could.
And one last thing, there is a lot of music that inspires me and a lot of things other than music. The forest, nature, the wind, our beautiful world and nature. I sympathize with the dreamy characters in Schubert's songs who can go and talk to a stream, a tree or a bird about their love troubles. There is something very beautiful in that and both love, emotions and music are still magical things that cannot be explained (thank God).
.As the romantic poet Erik Johan Stagnelius (1793-1823) wrote: "The night is the mother of the day" and "chaos is next door to God". This is how we want to interpret the classical music repertoire of Mozart, Vivaldi, Schubert and others. Music made long before the world we live in today
today. The spirit is free and the music is free.
