Life in Analog has been releasing a hypnotic mix of downtempo electronica, ambient jazz, and classical since 2013. The Austin, TX based producer specializes in calming atmospheres and pleasant vibes while allowing occasional flourishes of experimentation to keep listeners expecting the unexpected.
His first release, 2013’s Lost Sight took its cues from laid back jazz and funk styles, utilizing the warbling electronic keyboards and steadily propulsive electronic beats that would come to define his sound. 2016’s ‘Strange Ways’ saw him embracing a globally influenced rhythmic style which gave his open ended compositions new depth. He went on to expand on this formula the very next year with the excellent ‘Camera,’ showcased his constantly evolving sound.
