Lighterless are an experimental rock duo founded by vocalist Zach Lamb (20) and drummer Avalon Vallejo (21). The band started to record their first EP "Agitprop of America" with The Strokes' famed producer, Gordon Raphael, four months after forming in January of 2024. Demo Magazine notes that "With clear influences and fresh takes on emo and beyond, they’re a force to be reckoned with. Their chemistry is undeniable and they’re very down-to-earth, making the duo an approachable powerhouse."
Avalon and Zach grew up on opposite sides of the world. Lamb had lived in Poland and England for the majority of his life, before moving to South Carolina USA. Vallejo, on the other hand, was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Both founding members come from multi-cultural homes, giving their sound a refreshing twist from your usual rock n' roll band.
The pair released their first EP, Agitprop of America, on January 6th 2025.
