We’re an indie-pop band based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Our band is made up of Francois Goudreault, also the front man of power pop band Hello Kelly, and Julia Appleton, a singer-songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee.
We’re married. But don’t tell anyone! It’s our secret! (We’re totally kidding.) We got married in 2013 and have been making music together since early 2012.
Our band exists because we believe in telling stories and creating timeless, feel-good music. We believe in the power of community. Every project we’ve worked on has been a collaborate effort and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We strive for a “classic” sound, simply meaning that we hope our music will withstand the test of time. We believe in the joy of not taking yourself too seriously, but we also want to speak the truth - which isn’t always easy to do. We believe that light always overcomes the darkness and that a little bit of heart always goes a long way.
