After years of making music together under a variety of monikers, Lighthouse is its members return to a guitar driven hybrid of indie rock and a western tinted post-punk.
Drawing influence from the rock n roll greats such as Neil Young & Crazy Horse and The Velvet Underground, the band also lends its style to that of the more recent groups like The Strokes and Parquet Courts.

Best described as a “conglomerate of many different 70s New York underground sounds”, Lighthouse purposefully and also accidentally pays homage to the rock and punk legends that came before. The band often switches between calculated rock n roll pop tunes and the constantly-evolving proto-punk jams that defined the genre in its heyday.

The band always consists of Nick A (drums, positive vibes), Eli A (bass), Jesse N (guitar, vocals, keyboard) and Kikky J (guitar), but regularly includes a variety of the band’s musician friends to enhance and thicken the group’s driving sound.
